Contract:

A contract shall exist between the Client and Ice Hot Alpine Company once receipt of deposits/full payment has been received and Ice Hot Alpine has issued confirmation of the booking. The Contract is subject to the jurisdiction of English Law.

Payment of Holiday:

A deposit of 20% of the total holiday price is payable at the time of booking.
The balance of the full payment must be paid no less than 10 weeks prior to the holiday start date.
In all cases Ice Hot Alpine reserves the right to cancel the holiday arrangements if the Client fails to make the payment within the time stipulated.

Holiday Prices:

Ice Hot Alpine reserves the right to change holiday prices any time before a booking has been accepted. Once a booking has been accepted we guarantee the price will not change.

Cancellation of Holiday by Client:

Please notify us by phone and email or in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation charges are as follows.
Cancellation up to 10 weeks before holiday – 20% deposits
Between 3 and 10 weeks - 50% of total holiday cost
Within 3 weeks of holiday date - 100% of holiday cost

Alteration or Cancellation by Ice Hot Alpine:

Ice Hot Alpine reserves the right to alter any holiday arrangements as necessary. The client will be notified and offered a comparable holiday or full refund. This will not apply to cancellations or alterations made due to forces out of Ice Hot Alpine’s - Force Majuere, such as fire, avalanche or the Chalet whether accidentally caused or not. avalanche risk, war, terrorist activities, or adverse weather conditions.

Damage by and behaviour of Clients:

Ice Hot Alpine will accept no responsibility for the actions of its clients and reserves the right to terminate the accommodation arrangements of a client who behaves in such a manner to be detrimental to the holiday enjoyment of other guests or reputation of Ice Hot Alpine. Ice Hot Alpine reserves the right to claim back from the Client any costs or charges incurred due to damage to the Chalet whether accidentally caused or not.

Insurance:

It is a condition of booking that all clients have adequate ski insurance and medical cover.

Skiing:

Ice Hot Alpine staff are neither insured nor qualified to instruct or guide. If you ski with a representative of Ice Hot Alpine, whether on an organised session or not, (as part of a group with UIAGM guides or qualified instructors), Ice Hot Alpine cannot take responsibilities for any injuries however caused. At all times clients must use their own judgements based on their own ability, and skiing is at your/their own risk. Ice Hot Alpine accepts no liability should you choose to ignore this request. Ice Hot Alpine recommend the hire of a UIAGM mountain guide for any off-piste skiing.

Complaints by guests:

In spite of Ice Hot Alpine’s best efforts, very occasionally a problem may arise. If you are unhappy about any aspect of Ice Hot Alpine’s arrangements whilst on holiday, please address your complaint immediately to the Manager, Andrew McNeillie who will make every effort to resolve any problems there and then.

Ice Hot Alpine Vehicles:

In the event of bad weather, breakdown, illness, accident, Ice Hot Alpine cannot guarantee that the Chalet vehicle will be available to transport guests around the resort. The Chalet 'minibus' service is a gratuitous service and any client travelling in an Ice Hot Alpine vehicle does so at his or her own risk. No service is offered between midnight and 9am. Parents are asked to supply and fit any car seats for babies and small children.

Limitation of Liability:

Many services may be included in the overall holiday arrangements such as, skiing courses, summer activity courses etc. These may be performed by independent organisations over which Ice Hot Alpine does not have control. Where this is the case, Ice Hot Alpine is not liable for the actions of these third party companies; any claims arising must be made to the appropriate principal and not to Ice Hot Alpine.

Smoking:

Smoking is permitted only in the living room when one party has booked the whole Chalet. Smoking is not permitted in any of the bedrooms, or anywhere when individual bookings have been made.
